Here are some of the FAQ we get asked. If you have specific questions that aren’t covered here please do not hesitate to contact us by email: enquire@northernaspect.com.au or call us on 0407 776 361.

1. What do I need to know about building in the Northwest?

Building in the Northwest is quite different to building in other areas. However, we have an in-depth knowledge and high level of understanding of the specifications that are required to build homes in these areas. Northern Aspect has developed innovative construction methods to achieve this within your budget.

2. What if we can’t find a design we like?

That’s easy; we have our own design team who will be able to help you create your new home. Our service is hassle free, and it won’t cost you the earth.

3. Why do I need a site inspection?

A site inspection is required to assess the level of site works you will need, and to determine the aspect of the home. It will also be used to fix the positions of the sewer network, water mains, electricity and telecommunications connections. When you build a Northern Aspect home, a comprehensive site inspection is part of the service.

4. Will my site need to be re-pegged?

This will depend on the site itself and the design of the home, but in many cases the answer is yes, as it is necessary to establish the actual block boundaries. Northern Aspect will be able to arrange this for you.

5. I live in Perth but want my house built in the Northwest, can you do that?

Of course, we have the facility to keep you informed of the progress of your house as it is being built by emailing you photos and detailing stage progress.

6. What choices do I have with external and internal materials?

To ensure our prices match your budget, we do have a certain number of materials pre-ordered, which remains cost effective and helps us to meet the building timeframes. We also need to ensure all products used especially externally, are cyclone rated for the storm season that can affect the Northwest. However, we can always discuss your preferences and accommodate your needs where possible.

We do have a choice of internal materials to choose from i.e. Tiles, carpets, blinds, kitchen appliances etc.

7. What does the HIA have to do with the industry?

The Housing Industry Association (HIA) is a self-regulatory body that ensures standards of quality and service are maintained when building your house. All Northern Aspect homes are built to ensure that they meet the required homebuilder standards under our membership with the HIA.
